Glycosylated Haemoglobin (HbA1c) is a blood test that measures the percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it. It reflects the average blood glucose level over approximately the previous 2–3 months and is commonly used to assess and monitor diabetes and prediabetes.
